I rent a store in a building with 254 apartments and 9 street level stores and a big basement.
I have been using a storage room in the basement since I moved in 8 years ago.The room is not noted in my lease.When I negotiated the lease, the agent told me I can use the room.I do not have insurance coverage on the room.
One day a main water pipe burst in the basement of the building, the water flooded the whole basement with 6 feet high of water. My room also got the same hight of water. I lost everything in the room.
since I don't have insurance on the room,can I persue my landlord for the loss of my property.
